Privacy policy

Last updated: 7 September 2026

The short version

The tools on this site run entirely in your browser. Numbers you generate, and any IMEI you paste into the validator, are never transmitted to us and are never stored. We operate no user accounts and no database of visitors. No third party receives data about your visit, because the pages load nothing from anywhere else.

Who is responsible

This site is operated by dummy4u.com ("we", "us"). For any privacy question, or to exercise a right described below, write to support@dummy4u.com.

Information you give us

None, unless you email us. The generator and validator do all of their work locally in your browser using JavaScript. There is no form submission, no API call, and no server-side component that could receive what you type. Closing the tab discards everything.

If you do email us, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to deal with it.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, ours is delivered by a web server that records standard request logs: your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser's user-agent string, and the referring page. These logs are used to keep the site available and to investigate abuse or errors. They are retained for a short period and then deleted, and are not used to build a profile of you or combined with any other source.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies at all, and writes nothing to your browser's local storage. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Third parties

There are none. These pages load no advertising, no analytics, no social widgets, no embedded fonts, and no scripts or images from other hosts. Everything the site needs is served from its own domain, which is why nobody else is in a position to learn anything about your visit.

The one exception is unavoidable and worth naming: the site is hosted on GitHub Pages, so GitHub operates the web server that delivers it and handles the request logs described above in its role as our hosting provider.

Children

This site is a developer tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, or under 16 where local law sets that threshold. If you believe a child has provided us information by emailing us, tell us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of personal data about you, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Because we do not operate accounts and hold nothing beyond short-lived server logs and any email you have sent us, most requests are straightforward to answer. Write to support@dummy4u.com and we will respond within the period your local law requires.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
